Coding & Robotic Day
SMA Islam Sultan Agung 3 Semarang
Participates in Coding and Robotics Day
SMA Islam Sultan Agung 3 Boarding School Semarang has recently established a collaboration with the educational platform educourse.id to organize a free event titled Coding and Robotics Day. This activity is part of the national program GESSIT (Gerakan Sejuta Siswa Digital Indonesia), which aims to improve digital literacy among students. In this event, SMA Islam Sultan Agung 3 Boarding School Semarang became one of the active participants who had the opportunity to engage in direct learning in the field of technology. The program was attended by tenth-grade students who showed great enthusiasm in participating in each session provided. The activity was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the school’s computer laboratory. Students gained an engaging and interactive learning experience throughout the event. Not only did they learn theory, but they also directly practiced creating simple profile websites. This became an initial step in introducing the world of programming to the students. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will become more interested in exploring the field of digital technology.
In addition to coding lessons, participants were also introduced to the Edubit robot, which is one of the educational tools owned by educourse.id. This robot was used as a learning medium to introduce the basics of robotics in a practical and enjoyable way. The activity was guided by professional mentors, namely Mr. Fikky Aprico as both mentor and branch manager, Mr. Eric, and Miss Novi. The mentors provided direct guidance so that students could understand the material more easily. Interaction between mentors and students was also active throughout the event. This program not only provided new insights but also opened opportunities for students to develop their skills in the field of technology. As a follow-up to this activity, the school plans to open coding and robotics extracurricular programs. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to supporting students’ development in digital competencies.
